Hello, everyone. :)
Since I’ve started this blog, the response has been almost all positive. It’s definitely become somewhere where we can rant, give advice, and meet other people with curly hair. Sometimes it can seem that no one understands what we go through, but when we come here, we see that there ARE others who know all about our problems. Of course, it IS only hair, but it can be really frustrating sometimes! :P
Anyway, I would like to address some of the not-so-positive feedback that I get. So, in no particular order…

1) “I have straight hair, and some of these problems apply to me. So you shouldn’t post this on a blog about curly hair problems.”
Yeah, okay, I understand that. Not every one of the things that I post exclusively applies to those with curly hair. But they are still problems that we have, so I can post about them if I want. Cool? Cool.

2) “You curly-haired people think that you’re the only ones with problems. I have straight hair, and I have a lot of problems too, okay?”
Yes, straight-haired people, I can imagine that you have your own problems. But you probably don’t have the same problems as us. Our hair is often quite difficult to work with, and perhaps yours is too. But when we grow up around people with straight hair, we notice that straight hair *tends* to be at least a little easier to deal with than curly hair. And, since most people have straight/wavy-ish hair, people often give us a hard time for being different. If you want to complain about your straight or wavy hair problems, please feel free to make your own blog. But it’s unnecessary to whine to me and hate on my blog for that reason.

3) “I love my curly hair. You’re being so negative about it, it’s sooo annoying!”
You love your hair, and that’s awesome. And I know that a lot of people who follow this blog love theirs too. But that doesn’t mean that it doesn’t drive us crazy sometimes. Our hair can be hard to deal with, and sometimes other people in our lives just don’t understand that. This is just a place for us to talk to each other about our experiences and feel not as alone. And there isn’t anything negative about that.

4) “Is there a straight/wavy/etc. hair problems blog? / You should make a straight/wavy/etc. hair problems blog!”
A lot of people have been asking me this lately, haha. As for the first part of the question, I have no idea if there are any of those kinds of blogs out there, I don’t track or search for them. As for the second part, me not making other hair problems blogs comes down to two main reasons: I don’t have those types of hair and therefore have no idea what I’m talking about, and this blog takes up enough of my time already and there’s no way that I have time to manage more than one of them. Again, I encourage people to make their own blogs if they feel that there’s a need for one.

5) Some problems are similar to others that were posted before.
I have not memorized all of the problems that I have ever made. So, it make be a mistake. Usually, if it is really similar, I do not use it. But if it is not exactly the same, I will post it again, just because I think that many people may not have seen the other one, being that it was posted a while ago.

6) Can you promote me?
I’ll only promote you if you’ve entered my curly hair featuring thing - don’t know what to call it, but you can find the link at the top. Otherwise, best of luck with your blog, but I won’t promote, sorry.
